3D Printing
SeaForest provides 3D printing service, if you have any questions about 3D printing, please see below or feel free to contact me.
Types of 3D printing technology:
1. Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM):
– Build layers using thermoplastic filaments that are heated and extruded through a nozzle.
– Commonly used for prototyping and hobby projects.
2. Stereolithography (SLA):
– Use a laser to solidify liquid resin into a solid layer.
– Known for high precision and smooth surface finish.
3. Selective laser sintering (SLS):
– Use a laser to sinter powdered materials, fusing them together to form a solid layer.
– Suitable for manufacturing durable and complex parts.
4. Digital Light Processing (DLP):
– Similar to SLA, but uses a digital light projector to cure the resin.
– Faster than SLA, but similar accuracy.
5. Multi-Jet Fusion (MJF):
– A print head is used to deposit the adhesive onto a bed of powder, which is then heated to melt.
– Ideal for producing functional parts with good mechanical properties.
6. Electron Beam Melting (EBM):
– Melting metal powder layer by layer using an electron beam.
– High-performance metal parts for the aerospace and medical industries.
